DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Students at a local school created an amazing museum to celebrate both Black History Month and Women's History Month.
The museum fills the halls of Cleveland's Patrick Henry School.
It begins with a replica of La Amistad, the ship that became a symbol in the movement to abolish slavery. The slaves on board were freed by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Students prepared displays featuring the kids' role models, from President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, to Rosa Parks, Jesse Owens, Venus and Serena Williams, James Brown, Prince, and Michael Jackson.
