CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - 23 years after his first rape, a man who police say is responsible for at least three assaults in the area of King Kennedy Housing Estates has been arrested.
Jamie O. Robinson, Sr. was arrested by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office Warrant Unit Friday and is scheduled to appear in court Monday, April 3.
"This serial rapist will not prey upon any more young women," said Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O'Malley.
Robinson Sr., 38, is charged with sexually assaulting a 19-year-old in 1994, a 16-year-old in 1998, and a 19-year-old in 2000.
Robinson was arrested upon indictment on charges of rape, kidnapping, and gross sexual imposition.
Cold Case Unit prosecutors will prosecute the case.
