LORAIN COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - Ohio state troopers confiscated cocaine, marijuana, and shatter during a traffic stop on March 24.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers pulled over a 2016 Chrysler vehicle with Michigan registration because the vehicle was following too close to another vehicle. The stop occurred on I-80 east near the exit for Baumhart Road in Vermillion. During the stop, the troopers noticed an odor of marijuana, which prompted a search of the car.
Troopers discovered a duffel bag carrying 10 pounds of marijuana. Additionally, the troopers recovered 114 grams of marijuana shatter and 54 grams of cocaine. The contraband was valued at $63,700.
The driver, 19-year-old Noah V. Camaj of Michigan, was arrested and taken to the Lorain County Jail. He has been charged with possession and tracking of cocaine and possession and trafficking of marijuana. Both charges are considered felonies.
