WILLOUGHBY HILLS, OH (WOIO) - The City of Willoughby Hills has canceled an AMBER Alert. The children are safe but the suspect is still at large.
The alert was issued more than three hours after a 3-year-old little girl, Ravin Briscoe, and her brother, 5-year-old Gavin Traylor were taken.
At 1:30 p.m. a person familiar with the situation dropped the children off unharmed at a secure location and the mother and children were reunited, according to police.
Police in Willoughby Hills were searching for the siblings who were believed to be with their mother's boyfriend, Clarence Davis, 24.
Authorities say Tuesday morning, at 8:21 a.m., the children's mother, Samika Traylor called 911 and said her boyfriend threatened her with a gun, and took her vehicle with her two children inside.
According to Traylor the incident took place in the 27600 block of Chardon Road. Davis is believed to still have the gun on him and considered armed and dangerous.
Davis is 5'9" 215lbs, brown eyes, black hair, driving a 2013 Hyundai Sonata, dark blue with a rear license plate of GWS5908 and a front plate of BOB. Davis left the scene in an unknown direction with the kids in the car.
