3 injured by gunfire Wednesday on Cleveland's east side

DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Two women and a man were injured by gunfire Wednesday on Cleveland's east side.

Two women were each shot in the leg near East 65th and Superior Avenue around 5 p.m. Authorities say the shooter, a man, was hanging out of the sunroof of a moving car at the time of the incident.

The women, ages 56 and 46, were taken to University Hospitals.

No arrests have been made in that shooting.

Police say there was another drive-by shooting on the 1700 block of East 70th around 6:30 p.m. Witnesses told authorities the shooter was possibly a male shooting from a moving car, possibly out of the sunroof.

The victim in the second shooting was shot in the arm.
