Reward offered for home invasion suspect who shot victim's dog

Summit County Crimestoppers Inc. are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of an Akron man wanted for a home invasion robbery where he shot the resident's dog.

On January 5, police say Emmanuel Leville Brown and an unidentified man, both armed with handguns, entered an unlocked door of a home in the 800 block of Davis Street. Both men confronted the female resident and threatened to kill her before shooting that family's dog. Brown and his accomplice then ransacked the home taking $300 from a kitchen table before fleeing westbound through the backyards.

Brown, 24, is 6'3" and 220 lbs. and should be considered armed and dangerous.

His charges include aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, abduction and animal cruelty.
