Victims identified in 5 shootings on Cleveland's east side

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Police said 6 people were hurt in 5 different shootings Monday.

8:30 p.m. 

Antonio Tucker, 18, was shot in the leg in the area of Clermont and Larchmont. Witnesses said they were on Larchmont Avenue when an unknown person began shooting. After being shot, the victim was placed in a private vehicle and while driving northbound on Larchmont, the vehicle was shot at a second time. No one was hit, no shooter was seen.

8:45 p.m.

Ron Brown, 25, was shot in the leg at 3481 E.119th. Police said officers found the man in a bathroom who initially told them he had not been shot. Officers observed the victim bleeding from his buttock and advised him that he should be checked by EMS. EMS confirmed the presence of a gunshot wound and advised him to go to the hospital. The victim informed officers that he and his friends were in the driveway when he heard 12 gunshots. The victim stated that when he heard the gunshots, he turned, ran and fell, but was eventually able to run into the house.

9 p.m. 

A man was shot at 17911 Lake Shore and was transported to University Hospital. The victim's condition is not known.

9:30 p.m.

Mark Bogarty, 35, was shot in the face while driving in the area of East 119th and Union. He was later taken to University Hospital by private vehicle.

10:30 p.m.  

A 44-year-old man was shot in the stomach and a 27-year-old man was shot in the back at 3922 E. 120th.
