Mastiff shot over the weekend gets care

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Meet Leona. She's a 100 pound, 4-year-old Mastiff.

She was shot twice over the weekend, according to Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County. The first bullet hit her in the leg and shattered it. The second bullet hit her foot and blew apart her toe.

Friendship says her vet bills are already more than $2,000 and she has not had surgery yet.

The organization is asking for donations. Find more information here.
