MIDDLEFIELD, OH (WOIO) - The Geauga County Sheriff's Office says a meth lab was busted late Wednesday at a rental property on Grove Street in Middlefield.
The busted lab is unusual for the Middlefield community, which is known as the fourth largest Amish settlement in the world. Farmland and Amish carriages are a common sight in the town.
Police say deputies confiscated drug paraphernalia, drug lag components, and placed one suspect under arrest.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation is containing an investigation.
