Cavs release the official 'Defend the Land' playoff fan guide

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - With the first playoff game for the Cleveland Cavaliers set for Saturday, April 15 at 3 p.m., the team released their official "Defend the Land" playoff fan guide on Thursday afternoon. The guide is a compilation of information for fans on what to do and what to expect in the playoff atmosphere.

On April 15 at 1 p.m. and April 17 at 4 p.m., the Cavs will host a free fan festival and watch party at Gateway Plaza along East 6th Street. The attraction will feature the Wine & Gold Nation Street Jam Van for fans to get their face painted, hair colored, or supportive tattoos. Also, live music, kids games, and more will be set up for each fest.

With the heightened passion and excitement for the team, the "Laws of the Land" states that all fans inside the Q should sing the national anthem together. Also, don't offer any warm welcomes to the visiting opponents, which in this case is the Indiana Pacers. Fans should loudly distract opponents during free throws and encourage strong defense for the Cavs.

When the Cavs hit the road for Games 3 and 4, the Q will be the place to watch the games. Arena doors will open on game day for fans to watch the game on the video scoreboard. The setting will be as close to a game-like experiment as you can get without actually have the team playing at home. There are also more than 50 official watch parties located throughout Cleveland.
