Police looking for Cleveland bank robbery suspect

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Cleveland Police department is looking for the suspect accused of robbing the Citizens Bank located on the 4200 block of Pearl Road.

Investigators said the male suspect briefly spoke to a manager, waited in line before presenting a note indicating a bank robbery and making verbal demands for money.

The FBI said the man gestured to his pocket in a way that made employees believe he had a weapon, stating "Don't make me use this", but no weapons was seen. The teller complied with his demand for money. He exited the back through the rear parking lot and was last seen on foot.

The suspect is described as:

  • White man
  • Approximately in his 40s
  • Approximately 6'2" 195-210 lbs.
  • Wearing Oakely style wrap around shiny sun glasses

Tips can be provided to the Cleveland police, the FBI or crimestoppers.
