9 GoFundMe accounts set up for Facebook murder victim

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Several accounts have been set up for the victim in the Facebook shooting. 

Cleveland police say man killed elderly man on FB video

Robert Godwin, Sr was shot and killed Sunday around 2 p.m. 

Police said 37-year-old Steve Stephens approached the man in the area of East 93rd in Cleveland, asked him to say a name, then shot and killed him.

Nine accounts have been set up through the donation site, GoFundMe. 

Through the Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams said the family is not aware of any GoFundMe accounts and are asking people not to contribute to the account.

However, GoFundMe has reached out to Cleveland 19 News several times to say the money will be deposited into the family's bank account.
