CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Last Friday, April 14, 2017, an attempted bank robbery occurred at the PNC Bank on Broadway in Cleveland.
At 3:40 p.m. four armed men entered the bank and ordered customers and employees to the ground. One unknown suspect jumped on a bank counter while another pulled an employee out of their office to the lobby floor.
A bank security guard was returning to the bank at the time and his presence caused the men to run. The getaway vehicle was a stolen blue jeep.
According to police, these four men are suspected of being involved in other bank robberies. They are believed to be in their late teens or early 20's, thin build and approximately 5'7" or 5'9".
A neighborhood canvass was completed by law enforcement resulting in video surveillance capturing these four individuals maneuvering through yards without their face masks.
If you know who they are, anonymous tips can be provided to the Cleveland FBI, the Cleveland Police Department or to Crimestoppers. Reward money is also available.
PNC is offering an additional reward of up to $10,000 for information.
