ERIE, PA (WOIO) -

Pennsylvania police say the cellphone used to record video of Robert Godwin's shooting death that was posted on Facebook was not in Steve Stephens car, according to the Associated Press.

Stephens is accused of killing Godwin on Easter Sunday before he posted the video on Facebook.

Pennsylvania State Police say a Glock Model 30-S .45 caliber pistol was recovered from the white Ford Fusion Stephens was driving on Tuesday.

The Glock is what authorities believe Stephens shot himself with after a short pursuit with state troopers and other officers. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Erie County Coroner. In addition to the gun, police recovered 38 bullets from his car.

They're testing the gun to see if it's the one he used in the killing.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact PSP Troop E, Erie at (814) 898-1641 or Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers, (800) 472-8477.
