CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The memorial along East 93rd Street that honors Robert Godwin, Sr. is still growing. The stretch of balloons, candles, signs, and stuffed animals marking the spot along the chain-linked fence grows everyday.
As of Friday morning, the GoFundMe account set up on behalf of Robert and his family has reached over $90,000. The Arizona man who created the account is now considering doing more in Robert's honor. Wesley Davis, the account founder, said he is considering setting up a foundation in his honor.
Services for Robert are scheduled for Saturday at the River of Life Ministries, located at 24600 Lakeshore Boulevard. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and funeral services are expected to start at 11 a.m. The services are open to the public.
