SANDUSKY COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - During a traffic stop on April 17, the Ohio State Highway Patrol confiscated more than $18,000 worth of heroin from a Cleveland driver.
According to OSHP, troopers stopped a 2016 Nissan Rogue for following too close on I-80 in Sandusky County. A U.S. Border Patrol drug-sniffing canine indicated that there may be illegal items in the vehicle.
After searching the vehicle, troopers found 105 grams of heroin in a vacuum-sealed package. The drugs are estimated to value approximately $18,690.
Troopers charged and jailed 29-year-old Maurice D. Dunklin, Jr. and 25-year-old Dy Meisha La Tray Coles for possession and trafficking of heroin. The Cleveland suspects have both been charged with first-degree felonies.
