EAST CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A former East Cleveland police officer appeared in a Cleveland courtroom for arraignment Thursday morning after being accused of unwanted sexual advances towards two women during a traffic stop.
According to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office, Kenneth Bolton illegally pulled over two woman during a traffic stop near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Lee Road in February. Bolton allegedly took a sex toy that he found in the backseat of the woman's car and assaulted the two women while they were detained.
Bolton pleaded not guilty.
He was fired on March 3.
He has been charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition, two counts of abduction, and two counts of Civil Rights charges. Bolton could face up to 10 years in prison.
Bolton's next appearance in court is scheduled for May 2.
