ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) - The Friendship APL in Lorain County says a dog brought in as a rescue shortly after the Fourth of July had been shot with a BB gun.
The dog, which has been named Ghost, was brought in by Lorain Humane Officer Rick Broz after he was found on the streets during the holiday weekend.
The APL took him to Stautzenberger College for an exam and to be neutered. They took X-rays of the dog and discovered that he was shot with pellets and BB's. Some were found under the skin on his face.
Ghost is a 10 month old American Bulldog/Boxer mix and the APL says he is still loves attention and loves people even after enduring horrible abuse.
