BROOKLYN, OH (WOIO) - Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy over the weekend after he was caught waving around a authentic-looking gun while riding around on a hoverboard.
Brunswick police arrested the Cleveland Heights teen on Saturday and charged him with inducing panic and carrying a concealed weapon. The weapon turned out to be an air-soft pistol.
According to police, the teen was showing his gun while riding on a hoverboard near Orchard Avenue in Brunswick. A witness told the boy to put the gun away. Police say he put the gun in his pants and left the area with two other females.
Police later located the boy near Brooklyn Memorial Park and took him into police custody.
