Pilot forced to return to Hopkins after bird hits windshield

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A pilot tells airport officials a bird hit the plane's windshield when he was 10,000 feet in the air.

The United flight had taken off from Hopkins Monday morning.

After the incident, the pilot was forced to return to Hopkins, where he landed without any complications.

There were no injuries to anybody on board the plane.

The aircraft was then inspected for damage.
