CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A Cleveland couple's photos have gone viral, and have been seen in countries all around the world.
Cassi and Adam wanted to channel the Obamas, so Cleveland wedding photographer Natasha Herbert helped them recreate some of President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama's most famous romantic pictures.
"Adam actually suggested the idea and I was like, that's a great idea, we should totally do that," said Cassi.
They contacted their wedding planner, Covesa Gragg, of Covesa Kelly Events, who put the plans in motion.
"I said we can do different shots like she suggested and I said I know the perfect place we can do this at," said Gragg.
They set up the photo shoot at Cleveland Restoration Society in the Sarah Benedict House, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Photographer Natasha Herbert brought their vision to life.
Herbert shared the pictures of the engaged couple -- Adam and Cassi -- on Instagram and hundreds of thousands of people have liked the photos in less than a week.
"I think people really are thrilled to see some sort of hint or suggestion of the Obamas, sort of an homage to the Obamas," said Cassi.
All fame aside, Cassi says the couple is looking forward to their wedding day and showing the world what Cleveland has to offer.
"Anything we can do to help build the global recognition of Cleveland as an amazing place with really good people who are in love and get married and want to live a sort of you know live out certain values I think like the Obamas really embodied," she said.
