LORAIN COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - The Lorain County Coroner has confirmed to Cleveland 19 News the human remains found Thursday in a wooded area off of Mussey Avenue in Elyria are that of Tierra Bryant.

Dr. Stephen Evans explained Saturday night that experts used tattoos and dental records to identify the remains as that of the missing 19 year old Middleburg Heights woman.

Bryant was last seen in March 2015 in Middleburg Heights.

Dr. Evans says the remains will now be released to Bryant's family.

39 year old Rashad Hunt was arrested in Sacramento, California last month in connection with Bryant's death.  Hunt was then indicted for voluntary manslaughter, felony assault, gross abuse of a corpse among other charges and was then extradited back to Ohio.

Hunt reportedly confessed to killing her and helped lead investigators to her remains.
