RICHLAND COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - State troopers hauled in 110 pounds of marijuana and arrested two people during a recent traffic stop in Richland County.
On July 13, troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol pulled over a Nissan Altima on I-71 in Richland County for a window tint violation. According to the OSHP, driver was also driving without a license. The driver's vehicle was towed from the scene, and the drugs were found in the vehicle during a search.
Ltanya C. Guess, of Cincinnati, and Don Lawrence, or Cleveland, were arrested and charged with felonious possession and trafficking marijuana. Both individuals were incarcerated at the Richland County Jail.
If convicted, each could face up to 16 years in prison and up to a $30,000 fine.
