PARMA, OH (WOIO) -

Joe Mauretic lives on Grantwood Drive in Parma, and he is not happy.

The sewer in front of his home has been collapsing and the road has a large void underneath. He says the city of Parma won’t do anything about it. It is a problem he says he has been complaining about for three and half years.

Joe and his wife have a handicapped child and the school bus can’t pull close to his driveway apron for fear of its tires collapsing the roadway. He has to push the wheelchair into the middle of the street to his child on the school bus lift.

He feels it's a safety hazard for all the vehicles on the road because of the void underneath that’s been created.

The city has put cones out, but now the hole is so big that the cones have fallen into the sewer.
