(OHIO) WOIO - During the first day of the Cleveland Browns training camp defensive end Myles Garrett said he has to listen to defensive coordinator Gregg Williams to live up to the pre-draft hype.
"If I do that and give my full maximum effort out here, listen to the plays and try to master the playbook and listen to guys like Kirksey and Joe and their criticism, I think I'll be fine," Garrett said.
Garrett was the 1st overall pick in the 2017 draft. The rookie has fully recovered from a foot sprain, Garrett planted on Browns quarterback Brock Osweiler's foot during minicamp in June.
"In the game I won't have to worry about it, I'm going to be running by them to take them down," Garrett said.
Garrett is 6'5", 262 lbs, He had 31 sacks, 47 tackles for a loss and 7 forced fumbles in his 34 games in his college career at Texas A&M.
