Officials: Strong winds likely behind Friday night outages in NE Ohio

DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Ohio Edison/First Energy said inclement weather caused power outages Friday night in northeast Ohio.

Around 9 p.m., there were 3,800 outages in Cuyahoga County. There were 307 and 397 outages in Trumbull and Summit  counties, respectively around that same time.

Officials said the outages were most likely caused by strong winds.
