Cleveland police are investigating two separate shooting scenes.

Around 8:15 p.m. Sunday, an 18-year-old man was shot as he was driving along West 98th Street and Kirkwood Avenue on the city's west side.

After being hit by a bullet, the driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree.  The victim, according to Cleveland EMS, is in critical condition at MetroHealth Medical Center.

Witnesses at the scene say the teen may have been struck by a bullet in the head.

Cleveland police also set up a perimeter Sunday afternoon at West 103rd Street and Western Avenue.

There are reports that officers were looking for a suspect wanted in connection with another shooting.

Police and SWAT teams have since cleared the scene.
