LORAIN, OH (WOIO) -

It was announced on "Rover's Morning Glory" that RoverFest will not return to Lorain in 2017.

This has been an annual summer concert put on by the Cleveland-based radio show. During the 2016 event Bush, Chevelle, Ludacris, New Politics, Jim Breuer and The Loud and Rowdy performed at the concert.

The event also had a fireworks show.

Locals were split on the idea. Some appreciated the extra revenue and exposure for the city, while others dislike the traffic congestion and heavy crowds.
