MENTOR, OH (WOIO) -

Mentor police want to clear something up about a social media post making the rounds.

The post claims that possible human traffickers are lurking around Mentor-area parking lots.

On the police department's Facebook page, they said the information is false. They said they have no reports of the activity and they checked with the head of security at Great Lakes Mall and they don't have any reports either.

However, police remind people if they see suspicious activity, they should report it to police immediately at 440-255-1234.
