GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) -

The missing Garfield Heights man has been found safe and sound.

The Garfield Heights Police Department is searching for a missing endangered 54-year-old adult. Dondrea Williams suffers from schizophrenia and is medication dependent.

Investigators said Williams walked away from his home on Garfield Boulevard in Garfield Heights around 11 a.m. on Wednesday after making a comment he would like to go to Downtown Cleveland. Police said Williams has not been seen since that time.

His mother stated in the past he has been found walking around talking to himself and begging for cigarettes. The Williams family recently moved to Garfield Heights, Dondrea is not familiar with his new address and might be in the area of the 3200 block of East 110th Street or the area of Kinsman Avenue and East 147th Street in Cleveland.

Dondrea Williams is described as:

  • 6-foot-2
  • 130 pounds 
  • Long grey hair that is in braids and pulled into a pony tail
  • Brown eyes
  • Thin mustache

He was last seen wearing an orange and beige checkered shirt, dark brown pants and black shoes. Investigators said he is a chain smoker and also answers to the name "Angel."
