CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A major construction project begins on Monday, likely causing a headache for drivers traveling on the west side.
Beginning on Aug. 7, the entrance ramp from Columbia Road to I-90 eastbound will close for approximately six weeks. Crews will be reconfiguring the ramp during the construction project.
Motorists are urged to use Detroit Road to Clague Road as a detour.
The RTA Westlake Park-N-Ride bus No. 246 will also be impacted by the closure, which may be an inconvenience to customers, according to RTA.
According to ODOT, the project will cost more than $3.5 million to reconfigure the ramp.
