CANTON, OH (WOIO) -

A Syracuse, NY mom had no idea her mini vacation to Northeast Ohio would include a trip to the 2017 Hall of Fame Game to see the Dallas Cowboys take on the Arizona Cardinals.

Tracy Foster and her daughter spent Wednesday at the New York Giants training camp before they hopped in car to drive to Canton to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame Museum.

"We didn't know that this was going on here. We were just planning to come to the Hall of Fame," Foster said.

Tracy and Ven were in for quit a surprise. When they pulled up they couldn't find a place to park and had to take a shuttle to get to the museum.

"It was people everywhere and we live too far to turn around and leave. We were actually happy we chose today," Foster added.

In addition to going inside the museum there was plenty of other events going on outside.

"We heard the woman on the microphone say there was going to be a mom and daughter contest and the winner would receive two tickets to the game so we looked at each other and said, 'why not?'," Foster explained while laughing.

Three teams of two entered. Each parent was given 10 balloons and they had to toss the balloons into a bowl on their child's head. Whichever team gets the most in, without busting them, wins!

The game ended in a tie, team 1 and team 2 both had three balloons. That led to a tiebreaker. The moms were called on stage and had to out-dance one another to win.

The dance-off lasted about 10 minutes and because both moms were so good and anonymous donor walked up and donated three additional tickets so they all could attend Thursday night's sold out Hall of Fame game.

"Just us two, a mother and daughter trip. So glad we came," said Foster.
