CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The tornado warning for southeastern Richland County has expired. The National Weather Service in Cleveland issued the warning shortly after 1 p.m. Friday after a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Bellville, or 10 miles south of Mansfield.

A tornado warning means conditions are favorable for tornadoes or tornadoes are occurring. The National Weather Service encourages people to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.
