Residents back inside after gas leak forces them to evacuate

Olmsted Falls gas leak

Olmsted Falls residents who were forced from their houses Monday morning are back home resting comfortably.

Authorities say a natural gas leak at the intersection of Skyline Drive and Fairlane Drive started around 10:30 a.m.

Workers struck a Columbia Gas line while working. The leak was shut off and everyone was allowed back in their homes.

No one was injured. Columbia Gas crews remain at the scene.
