BROOKLYN, OH (WOIO) - There was an accident on Interstate 480 eastbound near Brooklyn on Monday.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. at the off-ramp to State Road.

There were at least three vehicles involved, including a delivery van for a paint store. The impact caused yellow paint from the van to be splattered around the road.

Joshua Cole, 31, of Cleveland and the driver Justin Cofta, 22, of Lorain, were both arrested and arraigned in Parma Municipal Court Tuesday.

Cole ad Cofta were charged with receiving stolen property, fleeing and eluding, possession of drug abuse instruments and grand theft.

Police say the truck they were driving was stolen from 6400 Stock Ave in Cleveland on July 25.

Both are being held on $50,000 bond.

Police shut down the exit ramp to State after the collision.
