Driver takes police on wild ride through Brooklyn (video)

BROOKLYN, OH (WOIO) - A teen took police on a wild ride and Brooklyn police are still looking for him.

Police tried to stop a teal minivan that was traveling 94 miles per hour, weaving in and out of traffic on Interstate 480 eastbound near Tiedeman Road around 3:40 p.m. Sunday.

Police said the driver failed to pull over and continued his reckless route.

The driver exited the interstate at State Road. Police said he disregarded traffic signals and hit 4 vehicles through the intersection. Police dashcam video shows the vehicle veering off the left side of the road at Burger Avenue, jumping out of the minivan and fleeing on foot.

Police have not located him. They said the male driver appeared to be in his mid to late teens, wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, and white shoes.

The vehicle was reported stolen from Cleveland an hour before the chase. The license plate was also reported stolen days earlier.
