Police seek help in identifying man who stole woman’s wallet in Westlake

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The search continues for a man who police said stole a Pepper Pike woman’s wallet containing credit cards last month, and a picture of the suspect was captured on security cameras.

Westlake police released images of the man from the July 20 incident. The theft allegedly took place at a Center Ridge Rd. office building.

The suspect was wearing a tan jacket, gray tennis shoes and a baseball cap.

 He used her credit cards in Cleveland and Wickliffe for a total of $1153 in illicit purchases at Target and other stores.

Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to call the Westlake PD Detective Bureau at 440-871-3311.
