Services set for woman killed in 'freak' falling tree accident

DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Services have been set for the woman who was recently killed when a tree fell on her moving car during a storm.

A celebration of live service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. for Devon Cook. It will be held at Waite and Son Funeral Home in Medina.

Cook leaves behind her 1-year-old daughter Victoria and 8-year-old son Cayden.

Cayden is now without parents, as his father, Adam Cook, Devon Cook's husband, died in 2010.

A tree fell on Devon Cook's SUV while she was driving in Montville Township on Friday. A storm with high winds had just moved through the area. Authorities referred to it as a freak accident.
