Woman accused of texting during deadly crash held on $75,000 bond

COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) -

A 24-year-old New Franklin woman is being held on $75,000 bond.

Natasha Boggs pleaded not guilty at Wednesday's arraignment in Summit County Common Pleas Court.

Boggs is charged in connection with a deadly May 28 crash that killed two teens and left a third severely injured.

Police said she was texting while driving on South Main Street in Coventry Township when she drove over the marked lane on the side of the road, striking three teens who were walking down the street.

14-year-old Taylor Galloway of Akron and 14-year-old Amber Thoma of Coventry Township died. A 15-year-old was hospitalized with serious injuries.
