MLB players will have nicknames on the back of their jerseys during "Players Weekend"

Major League Baseball players will have nicknames on the back of their jerseys during "Players Weekend."

Between Aug. 25-27 players will also have the chance to wear different kinds of spikes, batting gloves, wristbands, compression sleeves, catcher's masks and bats.

Francisco Lindor will serve as the "Players Weekend" Ambassador for the Cleveland Indians.

Cleveland will host the Kansas City Royals during the three games. A list of nicknames for the Indians is below.
