The affiliation and programming changes will take effect Monday, July 16, 2018.

The CW Network will bring its hit shows to WUAB with original primetime series including Riverdale, Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and Jane The Virgin. Starting this fall, The CW will broadcast a six-night, Sunday through Friday primetime schedule.

CW 43 will also carry The CW Network’s exclusive television events including the iHEARTRadio Music Festival.

CW 43 will continue to air local and syndicated programming including favorites like The People’s Court, Mom, and Family Feud. Following The CW’s primetime lineup from 8 to 10 p.m., WUAB will extend the 10 p.m. newscast to one full hour.

“The CW has some of the most popular series on television among young adults,” said vice president and general manager Erik Schrader. “Now along with our sister CBS affiliate Cleveland 19, we will be able to offer both viewers and advertisers a wide range of entertainment options.”

“We’re so pleased to partner with WUAB to bring Cleveland some of the most talked-about series on television, from Riverdale and Black Lightning, to our upcoming new series Charmed, All American, and Legacies,” said Chris Brooks, Executive Vice President, Network Distribution, The CW. “We’ve had a long and successful relationship with Raycom in other markets around the country, and we’re very excited to expand that partnership to include Cleveland.
