Steelhead are starting to bite in Lake Erie: Here's where to catch the trout (video)

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Walleye fishing on Lake Erie has been better than it has in almost four decades and now the perch have joined them. On top of that, steelhead are starting to bite in the lake.

Areas of Lake Erie where the fish are biting are changing. Watch the video below from Jonathan Shoemaker to see where to go out this weekend.

Shoemaker is an avid outdoorsman. He graduated from Cleveland State University with a bachelor's degree in environmental science.

He has fished in professional walleye and bass tournaments for 12 years.
