CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A woman in her 80s was injured in a house fire on the city's East Side.
The fire started around 2 p.m. Monday in a home on Crestwood Avenue near E. 107th.
Cleveland firefighters said Good Samaritans rescued the woman, before they arrived.
According to firefighters, the woman is being treated for smoke inhalation at a local hospital and is in stable condition. Her name is not being released.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, but firefighters say it started in a first floor bedroom.
