CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Fans were shook watching the new-look Cleveland Browns in action last night, one thing's for certain is that the team has options.
The Browns put on a great showing against the New York Giants, walking away with a 20-10 victory.
The team had success in the pass game thanks in part to Tyrod Taylor and first overall draft pick, Baker Mayfield.
Tyrod Taylor finished the game 5-5 with 99 yards and 1 TD. His two-series run earned him at 158.3 QB rating.
Taylor was accurate and poised in the pocket, making passes like this to Higgins and Njoku.
Shortly after Baker Mayfield made his debut and didn't disappoint.
Early in the second quarter Mayfield showed off the running ability that made him famous in Oklahoma.
After tap dancing onto the sideline he found Njoku for his second TD reception of the day.
Mayfield completed 11 of 20 passes for 212 yards and 2 touchdowns.

According to ESPN, the last Browns QB with 200+ Pass yds, 2 TD and 0 Int in a regular season game was Cody Kessler in Week 6 of 2016.
Fans are still split right now on who the quarterback should be moving forward, but the future is definitely in good hands.
