“It’s a celebration of Asian culture,” Kelly Manderfield told Cleveland 19 on the eve of the opening just less than a month ago. The festival coincides with the opening of the Cleveland Zoo’s newest exhibit, the Asian Highlands which features among other animals a set of triplet snow leopards which were born in April.
In addition to the colorful displays, the festival will also showcase traditional Asian cuisine, crafts, and live performances.
The exhibits will be open each Thursday through Sunday after the zoo closes at 6:30 p.m. from July 19 to Aug. 19.
Tickets are available online or at the zoo box office.
