Artist offers to tone down campus mural

AKRON, Ohio - It's the talk of the University of Akron campus.

A new wall mural in a student-services building shows intestines, sexual overtones and grisly images. The three-foot high work is nearly as long as a football field and is only 60 percent installed.

The Argentinean artist, Fabian Marcaccio, has offered to tone down the installation titled "Circulation." The item has attracted complaints and cost $140,000. It includes paint, silicon and digital photography.
