CANTON, Ohio - Authorities say they've broken up a Los Angeles-to-Canton drug ring, resulting in the seizure of about 140 pounds of cocaine and the arrest of eight suspects.
FBI agent Richard Denholm says that more than $1 million in drug proceeds also were seized, along with handguns, shotguns and assault rifles. He says that the cocaine has a street value of $3 million.
The investigation lasted 18 months.
The suspects are from Canton, California and Arizona.
