Anti-war activist speaks in Akron

AKRON, Ohio - Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan brought her message to Akron on Sunday.

She told more than 400 people that millions of Americans share her wish for U.S. troops to come home.

Sheehan emerged as a high-profile critic of the Bush Administration and the Iraq war after her son was killed in combat in 2004.

She was scheduled to speak Saturday in Cleveland but missed her flight from the West Coast when, tired and fighting an ear infection, she overslept.
