LONDON - There are about 42,000 households worth seven figures or more in Cuyahoga County, according to a new report that puts it in the top 50 of the nation's richest counties.
TNS, a market research firm based in London, says that the Cleveland county is 33rd on the list, which is topped by Los Angeles at No. 1. TNS says that the rankings are based on the number of households per county with a net worth of at least $1 million, minus the value of the primary residence.
A list provided to The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer shows Franklin County, home to Columbus, is 52nd in the millionaires' club. Hamilton County, which includes Cincinnati, is at No. 63.
