Man killed in Cleveland house fire

CLEVELAND - Authorities say a man has been killed in a fire at a boarded-up house in Cleveland.

An autopsy will be performed on the man, who is the ninth person to die in a fire this year in Cleveland. The cause of Sunday's fire is under investigation.

The man's name hasn't been released. Authorities say they're not sure who he is, while residents of the neighborhood say that the victim was homeless.

Assistant Cleveland Fire Chief David McNeilly says that the man was found at the base of the steps leading to the building's second floor, about 20 feet from an outside door.
